Student organizations (both Greek and non-Greek) wishing to secure a reserved tailgating location on the Quad or on the UA Student Center Lawn during the regular Football season should request a space via mySource registration.

Requests/registrations should be at least 7-10 business days in advance, with the understanding that priority will be given in order of registration (and to unhoused groups for Greek tailgating spots). The specific and accurate time that a group wishes to tailgate should be reflected in the event registration.

Game Day

All UA Gameday tailgating policies should be followed. Additionally:

  • Organizations must set up in their designated spot.
  • Organizations should not publicly advertise tailgates.
  • Groups should not play excessively loud music or music with inappropriate or disrespectful lyrics.
  • Tents larger than 20’x30’, risers/platforms and portable/mobile bars are not allowed.
  • Tents larger than 10’x10′ should not be staked – they must be weighted.
  • There should be no common source alcohol or drinking games.
  • Organizations should follow any inter/national organization policies as applicable.

All tailgate items must be removed by the designated time. Unsecured items left are at tailgaters’ own risk.

Organizations that have been approved to tailgate in a reserved space each week will receive an email on the Friday before the game with additional guidelines and information, including but not limited to:

  • Set-up and take-down time frame
  • Electricity information
