Each year we partner with the Ferguson Student Center to host Organization Takeover, a complementary event to continue the momentum of Get On Board Day (GOBD). The two-day event occurs the week after GOBD each fall and spring. During this time, student organizations register to take over the Ferguson Center from 5 – 9 p.m. each night to host one of three activities:
This year OTO will be hosted in a hybrid format. In-person room capacity will be limited to first come first serve and organizations will have the capability to host meetings and sessions in HopIn. Interested organizations can register for OTO while registering for Get on Board Day. Organizations who will not be participating in Get on Board Day, but are interested in hosting an OTO meeting can visit here.
There is no cost for organizations or students to attend Organization Takeover sessions.
Space and time slots are available on a first come first serve basis.
Student organizations have the option to sign up for OTO during their Get on Board Day registration. After GOBD registration is closed, student organizations may have the option to sign up for OTO if spots are still available.
The finalized schedule of participants will be advertised on social media, and in various UA departmental and division wide newsletters.
