A Second Year Leadership Experience

Are you a second year student looking to grow as a leader? Sign-up for TIDE2 today!

The Office of Student Involvement is excited to provide second year students with a focused leadership program and experience called TIDE2. In this program, students have the opportunity to participate in leadership development workshops, hear from guest speakers, connect with other peers in peer connection groups lead by trained UA student peer collaborators, and get more involved in the UA community.

TIDE2 is a 7-week leadership development experience that will occur twice an academic year. The fall cohort begins in September and concludes in November. The spring cohort begins in January and concludes in April. Participants will choose which cohort they would like to participate in. All meetings will be held bi-weekly on Tuesdays from 5:30 – 7 pm.

Key Components of the Program include the following:

  • Peer Collaborators
  • Development Workshops
  • Campus Engagement
  • Community Engagement
  • Reflections

Please read the Program Outline for additional information.

The TIDE2 Kickoff event will be held on Monday, September 9 from 12-2 pm on the UA Student Center Lawn. Join us for food, free swag, and information on how to sign up for the program!
